Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: October 2026

We want every parent to be able to make a book for their child, including people with disabilities. We have worked to make the site accessible and we keep improving it. Here is what we have done, what is not yet fully accessible, and how to reach us.

1. Accessibility level

The site has been adapted in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations 2013 and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.

2. What we have adjusted

Clear structure: headings, page regions, lists and buttons are built with semantic HTML, so screen readers can navigate the page.

Language and direction: every page declares its language (Hebrew, English or Arabic) and the matching direction — right to left in Hebrew and Arabic.

Alternative text: images that carry information have a text description, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.

Keyboard: every link and button can be reached with the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline. Pop-up windows (such as the sample book reader) close with Esc and return focus to where they were opened.

Contrast: text colours have been checked and corrected to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text).

Screens and zoom: the site adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom up to 200% without losing content. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are kept to a minimum.

3. Known limitations

The book illustrations are generated by AI, uniquely for each child, so they do not have a full text description of everything they show.

The book’s PDF is designed for printing and reading, and is not fully accessible to screen readers. On request, we will send you the story as plain text, which any screen reader can read easily.

Despite our efforts, some page or component may not yet be fully accessible. If you come across one, we would be glad to hear about it and fix it.

4. Accessibility contact
